The San Pietro opens with lovely aromas and flavors of white flowers, ripe pear, green apple and citrus zest complemented by hints of fresh herbs and almond. The palate is crisp and mineral-driven, with bright acidity, subtle saline notes and flavors of orchard fruit and shaved almond. It will play nicely with an arugula salad with prosciutto and mozzarella, grilled artichokes or linguine with clams.
