Rhône Valley, France
70% Chardonnay, 25% Sauvignon Blanc & 5% Muscat
Isle Saint-Pierre is a small island in the middle of the Rhône River, located 25km south of Arles and 15km away from the Mediterranean in the heart of the Camargue region. The close proximity to the ocean yields coastal climates which ensure a cooling influence resulting in fresh, quaffable wines for everyday consumption. Scents of ripe apples, Bartlett pears, and lemon curd linger on the nose leading into a bright palate of honeydew and citrus fruit with refreshing minerality and moderate acidity. Terrific on its own but it's equally delicious with baked fish, asparagus and goat cheese quiche or chicken with a lemon-caper sauce.
