Conca de Barberà, sheltered by the surrounding coastal mountain ranges, is a high-altitude wine region shaped by cool nights and ancient, rocky soils, creating wines with freshness, character, and a strong sense of place. Mas Foraster is one of two producers to make a red wine from Trepat, a native grape that is typically reserved for rosé wines and cavas.
The Julieta is an elegant, light-bodied red wine with a pale ruby color and a complex nose of tart red berries, crushed rose petals and a crack of white pepper. It delivers a fresh and energetic profile driven by vibrant acidity and crunchy raspberry fruit with faint herbal undertones and a lingering chalky finish. It's a delicious choice for seared tuna, grilled salmon or charcuterie and tapas.
