"The 2023 Syrah (Arroyo Seco) is a more red-fruited, energetic style of the variety that stays light on its feet from start to finish—almost Gamay-like in its peppery floral character. Plum, cranberry, pomegranate, rose and cinnamon gently lift from the glass, turning savory as it approaches the finish. Bright acidity and lift from the 60% whole clusters keep this refreshing and bright. This is a crushable red, even better with a light chill."
