The brotherly team of Damon and "Jono" Koerner are really starting to turn heads in the world of Australian wine making. They are making wines that are unoaked, light-bodied and with minimal added sulfur. The Koerner family itself has been farming without irrigation, insecticides, chemicals, or synthetic fertilizers for nearly 40 years. This is a wine meant to be enjoyed young with a nose containing raspberries, pine and clove. On the tongue, this wine is fresh and lively with pink peppercorn, bing cherry and eucalyptus shining through. Pair this wine with leg of lamb, braised beef short ribs or jelly donuts.
