Laely Cabernet Sauvignon 2023, Napa Valley, California

TASTING NOTES

2023 was an outstanding vintage for Napa Cabernet. Sourced from one estate on the Rutherford bench, the Laely is a polished, expressive Napa Valley red that captures both richness and finesse. It opens with aromas of cassis, ripe cherry and blackberry layered with graphite, cedar and a hint of vanilla spice. A supple and full-bodied palate delivers concentrated dark fruit, cocoa, leather and allspice across fine-grained tannins, and balanced acidity, giving it both power and elegance. It would make a delicious pairing with red meats, red-sauced dishes like eggplant parmesan or herb crusted pork chops.
