TASTING NOTES
The Troncone is a pure and elegant expression of high-altitude Sangiovese, hailing from some of the highest vineyards in Montalcino. It has scents of bright red fruits that intertwine with vibrant notes of cigar spice in the glass. The palate unfolds with red currant, sour cherry, wild strawberry, bay leaf, violet nuances and dusty tannin with refreshing acidity. Sangiovese's lifting acidity makes it a fantastic match for tomato-based sauces found in pasta, pizza, and dishes like ribollita or Bistecca alla Fiorentina.
