REGION
Languedoc, France

VARIETAL
50% Carignan, 30% Grenache & 20% Mourvèdre

TASTING NOTES
Taking their name from the Doors' song "Wild Child", Domaine Les Enfants Sauvage is a wonderful wine producer in the heart of the Languedoc. The vineyards at Les Enfants Sauvages are hidden by the surrounding garigue, the only threat is wild pigs that are kept out of the vineyards by kilometers of stone walls that the winemaker’s built. Seductive aromas of orange rind, cherry, and oregano permeate the nostrils while flavors of cranberry, licorice, and dried strawberry wash over your tongue. A perfect pairing for your Thanksgiving dinner, you can also pair this bad boy with roast turkey, sweet potato casserole, or roasted turnips.
