The Manzones have been making wine for over 100 years, with five generations tending the family estate in one of the most beautiful parts of the Barolo hills, between Monforte and Serralunga d'Alba. They take great care to work in harmony with nature--from encouraging biodiversity to maintaining the balance of the local ecosystem, their approach is both thoughtful and down-to-earth. The property is dotted with solar panels, beehives, and even bat shelters, all helping to create a vibrant, healthy environment for their vines. This juicy and crisp Barbera would be an excellent alongside rich pasta dishes or braised pork shoulder.
