Giovanni Manzone played a big part in bringing the rare Rossese Bianco grape back to life. In 1982, he re-grafted old vines and became the first to produce a 100% Rossese Bianco wine, launching a decades-long effort to have the variety officially recognized. Today, Rossese Bianco is listed among Piedmont’s indigenous grapes. This golden hued wine offers inviting aromas of orange and cedar, that lead into a soft, layered palate with notes of melon and peach. A great match for rich fish dishes or a variety of cheeses.
