Marlborough, New Zealand
What we have here folks is an outstanding wine with a rather comical name. Massey Dacta, a nickname given to the family tractor, is a pleasant reminder of wine-maker Owen Glover's time as a child in New Zealand growing up on the family's vineyards. This wine has a zippy perfume of Granny Smith apple, kiwi and honeysuckle that explodes into flavors of orange rind, Asian pear and guava. Pair alongside a California roll, chicken Caesar salad or fish tacos.
