This northern-style Rhône has an expressive bouquet of black fruit, dried lavender and violets with an underlying hint of spice. It is a bit more restrained than its southern brothers. It offers crisp acidity intertwined with dark brooding black cherry and blackberry fruit, licorice, chewy tannin and a balanced sprinkle of black pepper.
