TASTING NOTES
94pts - John Gilman
"The Chermette family’s Moulin-à-Vent “les Trois Roches” is a brilliant young wine in 2022. It offers up a pure and very deep bouquet of black cherries, sweet black currants, bonfire, spit-roasted gamebird, coffee bean, a complex base of granitic minerality, just a whisper of fresh thyme and a floral topnote redolent of violets and peonies. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and seamlessly balanced, with a sappy core of black fruit, beautiful soil signature and grip, ripe, fine-grained tannins and superb focus on the long and complex finish. This is a proper bottle of Moulin-à-Vent and deserves some hibernation time in the cellar before broaching."
91pts - Wine Enthusiast
"This wine has an aromatic nose of red cherry, strawberry, pomegranate, red plum and white blossom. The wine has a plush mouthfeel with soft, chewy tannins that gives the wine lift. This Moulin-à-Vent would be a versatile pairing partner with many dishes."
