TASTING NOTES
Cortese is a white grape variety found almost exclusively in Italy, predominantly in the Piedmont region and is most famous for being the grape behind Gavi wines. The Il Forte is aromatic and fragrant offering notes of citrus fruits, green apple and melon with a subtle hint of almond. It's dry with crisp, refreshing acidity and layers of zested lemon, nectarine and crushed mineral flavors. It's a tasty alternative to Sauvignon Blanc and is a great thirst quencher, or a summer aperitif, and a delicious seafood partner.
