Punta Crena's Lumassina, a rare grape exclusive to the Ligurian coast, is refreshingly delicious! It thrives high above the Mediterranean amongst the steep, sloppy vineyards on the Italian Riviera. It can be quite difficult to cultivate and some farmers even gave up on it. However, the Ruffino family has been growing vines in this region for about 5 centuries and has kept it from becoming nearly extinct.
Now for the wine... this charming little bottle is packed full of lemony fun. It has a tiny bit of spritz, a hint of white flowers in the background, low alcohol and it's oh so refreshing. This could be your summer bottle.... fried sardines, anyone?
