The wines of Quinta da Mariposa are made in a natural way preserving the grapes inherent aromas, flavors and natural acidity showcasing the character of the Dão region. They are light and fresh and meant to be drunk young, but still have good aging potential. This red blend highlights rustic berries, perfumed wildflowers, dried herbs and black pepper. The palate has a nice acidity combined with round tannins and a long, lingering finish. Enjoy this with a sausage stromboli, mushroom tacos or a cured meat and cheese board.
