This white wine comes from steep hillside vineyards on the slopes of the Treviso Prealps bordered by woods and populated by wildlife in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene region. This landscape is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its dramatic slopes, small plots and significant hand-harvesting, often described as “heroic viticulture".
The Moncrèp is made from the idigenous grape Verdiso and is known for it's terrior driven aromatics and flavors. It has a lovely nose of Crabapple, citrus peel and fresh Alpine herbs. It's light and delicate on the palate with notes of Asian pear, a sprinkle of lime and white florals mingling with subtle minerality and gentle acidity. It's only 11% alcohol and an easy, elegant sipper for brunch or a lazy day at the park.
