TASTING NOTES
A skin contact blend of Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, and Riesling from five different organic vineyards with varying soil types and elevations. Each grape variety is vinified separately with 30 days of skin contact and then aged in neutral oak barrels for 6 months before blending. Unfined and unfiltered, with a small amount of SO2 at bottling.
The Flood is a fresh and aromatic wine with notes of juicy orchard fruits and refreshing acidity. It's really the kind of orange wine everyone wants, full of fruit and joy and very soft tannins, aromatically jumping out of the glass. -Winemaker's Notes
