Grown in the volcanic soil of the Etna valley, Etna Rosso is macerated until fermentation naturally finishes then aged in oak barrels for a year. Needless to say a great amount of time and care goes into this wine and it shows year after year. Perfectly ripe red fruit and a garnish of spice shine on the palate balanced with appropriate acidity, smokey minerality and soft tannins on the finish. This wine pairs perfectly with tomato based dishes. So whenever you open a bottle think margherita pizza, tomato basil bisque, even a fine ragu.
