Timorasso which was nearly extinct until two decades ago owes its modern-day existence and cult status to one man: Walter Massa. His Derthona is a beautiful and exotic expression of this grape. It is a blend of Timorasso from all his vineyards with lengthy bottle aging, a minimum of 18 months in the cellar. It boast alluring floral scents, creamy apricot and apple. It has lovely texture and weight with intense flavors of yellow stone fruits, pineapple and honey notes balanced by fresh acidity. Let this open and the layers of flavor will evolve in the glass.
