TASTING NOTES

This merlot driven Bordeaux has aromas of crushed blackberry, blackcurrant, dark plum and graphite lingering from the glass. The fruit is harvested from sites that border the Lalande-de-Pomerol and the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel and cement. A medium body delivers juicy dark fruit flavors and earthy undertones balanced by a crisp limestone mineral backbone, smooth tannin and a clean, savory finish. Enjoy this red with burgers off the grill or heartier dishes with beef or venison.
