Maipé is a specific vineyard plot in Taganana that was buried by a massive mountain landslide from the Monte de Las Vueltas in the early 1900s. Over the last century, the ancient vines miraculously fought their way back through the rock and stones, creating a completely unique and dramatic viticultural landscape.

 

The Maipé de Taganana Listan Blanco is a beautifully compelling wine. It has lush stone fruit flavors with undertones of orange peel, underripe pineapple and caramelized sugar defined by a distinct saline character. Enjoy it on its own or share it with friends over carnitas and warm corn tortillas.
