Sancerre, Loire Valley, France
Since 1999, Vincent Grall has quietly been making tiny amounts of Sancerre in his garage from 3.8ha of vines, making him the second smallest producer in the region. Although not certified, the soils are worked manually and organic treatments are used. With an enticing bouquet of papaya, pear and lime zest with flavors of pineapple, lemongrass and wet stone this wine will keep you coming back for more. Pair with grilled swordfish, tortellini salad or goat cheese and crackers.
