"This cloudy, honey-colored, skin-contact Semillon from a top notch natty producer, Walsh and Sons, is reminiscent of a pick-your-own orchard in the fall, with aromas of fresh hay, bruised apples, pumpkin spice and damp earth. The palate is radiant, with crackling acidity that tingles the tongue, a bit of skinsy tannins and earthy, wild flavors that lend a sense of place and food friendliness. Drink with truffle and other mushroomy, cheesy pasta dishes."
