TASTING NOTES
Created in the early 1930's by Francois and Simone Laloue, the family farm grew grapes, grain and tobacco while also raising livestock. In 1960, their son Serge took charge of the small plots of vines to concentrate only on viticulture and winemaking. Today, the Laloue's practice sustainable agriculture growing grass between the rows of vines, which encourages the vines to dig deeper while reducing erosion in the vineyard. With a delightful bouquet of poached pear, gooseberry and honeysuckle this wine is quite enticing. Notes of lemon curd, melon, quince and flint emerge on the palate with a lingering, mineral finish. Pair this crisp white alongside tofu bahn mi, seared sea bass or smoked salmon pinwheels.
