This husband and wife team have wine in their blood. Both of their fathers are reknown in the winemaking region of Priorat, Josep Lluis Pérez of Mas Martinet and René Barbier of Clos Mogador. Sara Pérez and René Barbier have decided to take a femine approach to their wine making style. There wines are incredibly elegant, refined, sensual expressions of Montsant, with restrained alcohol levels and tremendous texture. The Dido is incredibly expressive with a bouqet of red berry fruit sprinkled with fresh earth and dried flowers. Its medium to full body offers up a blend of fresh and dried red and black fruit as well as notes of spice, licorice, leather, earthy minerals and some structured tannin. Pair this one with hearty, savory dishes especially if they are roasted.
