ZAKUSKA was born from celebrations around my parent’s dinner table. Stories and jokes, heartfelt toasts and songs, all accompanied by delicious food and punctuated by cold shots of vodka.
ZAKUSKA isn’t like an ordinary, neutral vodka. We’ve distilled it from a mix of soft red winter wheat and corn, and left it unfiltered so a balance of flavors comes through with every chilled shot. It has flavors of vanilla, caramel, fig, spices and honey.
ZAKUSKA : a term for Russian hors d'oeuvre item such as caviar sandwiches or vegetables with sour cream dip, all served with shots of cold vodka and friends.
