TASTING NOTES
Francesco Annesanti says his wine is his heart and soul. His cantina is in a rural part of Umbria where there are no other vines for miles in any direction. He farms no official appellation and does everything by himself to simply make “Umbrian” wine. Round, dark, and a tad floral, this Umbrian litter bottle has heaps of earthy blackberry fruit, dried violets, moderate acidity and soft tannin. It would be great with a slab of focaccia topped with caramelized onions and bitter greens or meatballs.
