TASTING NOTES
Brothers Maxime and Camille Ponson are sixth generation winemakers in the sub-appellation of Petit Montagne where chalky subsoils come with a mix of clay, limestone and sandy topsoils. Their grower Champagnes focus primarily on the lesser represented grape, Pinot Meunier, which often brings a rounder fruit quality to the cuvée. This spends 3-4 years on the lees with 7g/l dosage. The palate is lush yet fresh with a beautiful dose of red berry fruit and brioche.
