TASTING NOTES
Born into a winemaking family, and with extensive winery experience in New Zealand, Germany and South Africa, 29 year old Christoph Heiss has decided to focus on his own project in eastern Kamptal. Using chosen parcels of the Weingut Heiss’ 12 hectares of vines, Christoph has developed a very small production of stunning ‘Malinga’ natural wines. Made from family estate fruit, an alluring nose of stone fruit and white flowers leads to a palate brimming with fresh apple fruit, delicate spice, lemon and beeswax paired with stony coolness. It's a delicious little day sipper and would also complement a Thanksgiving day spread or the next day leftovers.
