TASTING NOTES
This syrah is a ripe, blackberry-driven, silky wine with cocoa powder, dried lavender notes, espresso, spice, and plums on the plate. It’s clean and well made with a sweetness to the fruit character and grippy tannins. It can be imbibed with a grilled rib-eye, barbequed pork or a bowl of veggie chili.

92pts - Vinous
"The 2020 Syrah Azuda from Almahue, Cachapaol, was partially aged for 12 months in used barrels. A mild purple hue. The nose presents notes of ripe fruit such as raspberry and a hint of spice along with an exotic whiff of grapefruit. Mild and compact on the palate with finely grained tannins. The flow is taut but juicy."

92pts - James Suckling
"A vibrant nose, effusing copious Mediterranean spices, thyme, peppercorn, ripe plums and cherries. Fresh and bright with a medium body and creamy tannins that dissipate with the red fruit. Dry and exuberant. Drink or hold."
