TASTING NOTES
Irouléguy is a region isolated by the Pyrenees in the French speaking Basque Country located in the Southwest of France bordering Spain. This natural paradise is home to an extensive network of local artisans and producers and represents the very best of Basque gastronomy. This cuvée is a mineral, herbaceous mountainous blend of native French grapes. It is unctuous and dense with texture and complexity surrounding flavors of preserved lemon, tropical fruit, ripe pear and saline leading to a stoney finish with crisp acidity. Pair this savory white with heavier white fish like halibut with buttery sauces or vegetarian or meat terrines and pâtés.
