90% Cinsault & 10% Carignan

TASTING NOTES
This medium-bodied red is notable for its beguiling flavors of black currant and fresh cherry. Granite and quartz rich soils impart a generous minerality to this Chilean beauty ending with a finish of Morello cherries, wild herbs and smooth tannins. This Cinsault is satisfying on its own but ideal with grilled vegetable skewers, Thai curry dishes or Gruyere cheese.

"The 2021 Imaginador was produced with Cinsault from five vineyards on granite soils in Guarilihue. It fermented with 100% full clusters and indigenous yeasts at low temperatures for 15 days, with 12 days of maceration, and matured in oak and concrete vats for 11 months. The first thing that came to my mind when I put my nose in the glass was "Bruja de Rozas!," the entry-level wine from Comando G! It's a blend of the leftovers from the other Cinsault wines, perfumed, floral, aromatic, expressive, where Parra looks for finesse (and he got it!). They are all pale, there's no extraction, no pigeage, no remontage, only the cap gets wet, and the result is stunning. The palate is light to medium-bodied, the tannins are super fine and the wine is ethereal, elegant, tasty and long, clean and pure."

"A delicious and tangy cinsault full of wild raspberries, strawberries, flowers and a white sesame note. Chalky tannins are fully dissolved on the ethereal, medium-bodied palate with a nimble, peppery finish. Full of energy, finesse and drinkability here. Enjoy now."
